Resident Services Industry Study-2017-FINAL

In coordination with the Texas Apartment Association (“TAA”), the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (“TDHCA”) Compliance Division is presenting Housing Tax Credit (“HTC”) Training in Austin on Sept. 13, 2017.

This training is taught by the compliance staff of TDHCA and provides a solid foundation of information that owners, managers and on-site staff need to know to be in compliance with requirements for the HTC program.

The Drafts of the 2018 Qualified Allocation Plan (“QAP”) and Uniform Multifamily Rules for public comment have been posted to the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs’ (“TDHCA”) website. The documents can be found in the TDHCA Public Comment Center at: http://www.tdhca.state.tx.us/public-comment.htm under the “Items Open for Public Comment” drop-down bar, and on the Multifamily Finance Division’s NOFAs and Rules webpage at: http://www.tdhca.state.tx.us/multifamily/nofas-rules.htm

Please direct all input related to the QAP to TDHCA Multifamily Policy Research Specialist Patrick Russell at patrick.russell@tdhca.state.tx.us, and input related to the Uniform Multifamily Rules to TDHCA Manager of Multifamily Teresa Morales at teresa.morales@tdhca.state.tx.us. Any input must be provided by Thursday, Oct. 12, 2017, at 5 p.m., Austin local time.
