Rally Day at the Capitol

Individual appointments with your Legislators at their Capitol offices, over breakfast or lunch and a networking reception at the Capitol at 5:00 p.m.

Our goal is to bring together a coalition     of housing advocates to ensure affordable housing communities are being developed at the highest quality level for low to moderate income individuals and families in Texas. This year’s Rally Day will bring together Legislators and key TAAHP, TALHFA and RRHATX members to discuss legislative issues affecting the affordable housing industry in Texas.

Join us as we share the new and changing story of affordable housing and help promote housing for all Texans.

Wednesday, March 29th:

 8:30 am -11:30 am   Legislative Calls & Presentations

12:00 pm                     Lunch at Doubletree Suites
                                      303 W. 15th Street
                                      Bluebonnet 1 room

 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm    Legislative calls and presentations

  5:00 pm – 7:00 pm    Reception at Capitol 

Again, this is a tentative agenda.  It will be adjusted as more TAAHP members register and express their interests in contacting specific legislators.  We are fortunate to have a comfortable room in the Capitol as a gathering spot, breakfast and reception location.  Join us in E2.1002.

Don’t forget to register for the TAAHP Member Mixer!  Parkside, 301 E. 6th Street 2nd floor, Tuesday evening before Rally Day, 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm!
