On July 17, 2008 the Texas Afliation of Affordable Housing Providers Political Action Committee (TAAHP-PAC) was chartered by the State of Texas. TAAHP-PAC was organized so that individuals and groups could utilize the TAAHP-PAC to channel their financial and technical assistance to those policy makers who support the adequate funding and production of affordable housing for Texans with limited incomes and special needs.
As the housing industry adjusts to accommodate new funding tools, affordable housing developers and professionals need a strong presence at the State Legislature level to ensure our voice is heard.
